Numeric assignment of a polygon can't draw it beyond the extent.
When you enter polygon coordinates in 'Numeric assignment of a polygon' that are out of the current extent, the tool does not draw the polygon. This is the tool design.
Adjust the map extent so that your ROI polygon will be within the extent.
Clicking on "Query Results" popup window empties the query results.
The popup window should be designed to prevent mouse events on it from being propagated to the underneath map but sometimes it fails. This means that the browser recognizes your click on the popup as a second "Identify feature" request and if there is no point or line on the map where you click, the feature returns no record.
Workaround: After the popup window appears, click somewhere inside the popup window but beyond the underneath map area or move the popup window slightly by grabbing the blue heading bar. These actions somehow makes things as designed.
Clicking on "Items in Layers" popup window turns to "Query Results".
This is the same circumstance as above. When opening "Items in Layers" popup window while "Identify" tool is activated, the click event on the popup window propagates to the underneath map.
Workaround: After the popup window appears, click somewhere inside the popup window but beyond the underneath map area or move the popup window slightly by grabbing the blue heading bar. These actions somehow makes things as designed.
The links in Identify popup does not show tooltip text.
The links in "_dataset" column in the Identify popup window shows the dataset name as a tooltip. This works for Internet Explorer but not for Firefox.
Workaround: At this moment, there is no workaround found as long as you use Firefox. Clicking the link brings the dataset detail page and you can find the dataset name on it, though.

Extent Picker can't properly handle an extent spanning over 180 degrees in longitude.
When you manually enter maximum and minimum longitudes for your region of interest that spans over 180 degrees, Extent Picker always takes the shorter path in drawing the extent.
Similarly, you can't draw a very large extent on Google Map (Extent Picker).
This is thought to be a limit of Google Map and nothing is planned to work around this problem.
Remember that you can still enter such coordinates and they are properly treated for search/mapping functions. It's is just a problem of visualization with Google Map.

Resolved issues

Online Mapper

'Measure Distance' tool doesn't show guide lines.
The problem was fixed on 10/25/2006.
Measured distance appears in 'Dist:' field under the map image but the guide lines are not drawn on the map.
